The Office of Research Compliance utilizes the online review system, known as MAESTRO, for processing applications for research activities involving human subjects for the Institutional Review Board (IRB). MAESTRO allows researchers to complete, submit and manage their application for research involving human subjects, throughout the IRB process. IRB applications are only accepted via MAESTRO.
Developed by the Office of the Associate Vice President for Research Integrity and the Research Information Technology (IT) Department, MAESTRO makes submitting research applications very user-friendly and allows the IRB process to become paperless, thus contributing to the University’s directive of sustainability.
